Description

Transmission with EPE control (unipolar, connected)

When heat is required, the controller contact is closed, RLY1 engages and closes the NO contact of switch SW3. This results in B being closed and A open. When A is fully closed, the nipple closes switch SW1 and opens SW2. When the heat demand is met, the controller contact is opened. RLY1 disengages and the NC contact in SW3 is closed. When connection A is fully closed, the nipple closes SW2 and opens SW1. The zone valve is then ready for the next heat demand. In the event of a power failure, the zone valve remains in its current position for both operating modes. When power is reconnected, the zone valve reacts to the controller status.
