Characteristics

Askoheat electric heating elements are generally suitable for photovoltaic systems, but always depend on the regulation installed on the system side.

If used in hard water, measures to reduce scaling or descaling of the heating element (for the first time after 3 months, then at regular intervals) must be carried out. Limescale can cause the safety limiter to trip, thermal destruction or pitting corrosion of the heating element, i.e. loss of warranty!
