Description of hygroscopic cap

The 90 46 57/58, 90 035 05 and 90 601 44 vents are equipped with hygroscopic safety caps. These are fitted with a fibrous cellulose washer, which closes the valve on contact with water, thus preventing possible water leakage and therefore damage.
